Bu sorunların en sık yaşandığı bölge ise Afrika kıtası olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Volkswagen Grubu‘nun da tedarik zinciri için Blockchain kullanma planı çeşitli sorunları ortadan kaldırabilmesi açısından önem taşır.

Son yüz yılın en popüler çok uluslu şirketlerinin başında gelen IBM yine başarılı bir anlaşma ile gündeme oturdu. Bu sefer de sık sık şahit olduğumuz üzere yine Blockchain Teknolojisi alanında bir diğer önemli firmaya hizmet verecek. Volkswagen Grubu‘nun yaptığı açıklamaya göre 2 şirket arasında tedarik zinciri özelinde Blockchain Teknolojisi kullanılması yönünde mutabakata varıldığı aktarıldı. Buna göre Volkswagen şirketi ilgili madenlerin tedarik zincir bağlamında takibini IBM Blockchain hizmeti aracılığıyla gerçekleştirecek.

Bu bağlamda batarya yapımında kullanılan ve diğer çeşitli madenler de şeffaf bir şekilde izlenebilecek. Bu durum da uluslararası standartların yerine getirilebilmesine olanak tanıyacaktır. Bir diğer önemli detay ise şirketin genişleme yoluna gideceğini ifade etmesidir. Buna göre önümüzdeki süreçte çok daha farklı alanlarda hizmet verileceği Volkswagen tarafından aktarılmış oldu.
