Popüler MetaMask cüzdanından sorumlu olan blok zinciri ve Web3 yazılım geliştirme şirketi ConsenSys, Ethereum‘un PoS (Proof-of-Stake) sistemiyle ilgili potansiyel dolandırıcılık ve manipülasyon riskleri hakkında ABD Menkul Kıymetler ve Borsa Komisyonu‘nun özellikle spot Ether (ETH) takaslarına ilişkin olan soruşturmasına yanıt verdi.

Düzenleyici kuruma sunulan bir yorum mektubunda Consensys, dolandırıcılık ve manipülasyon endişelerinin temelsiz olduğunu belirtti.

Consensys bir blog yazısında şunları açıkladı:

“Aslında, Ethereum‘un PoS uygulaması, SEC tarafından zaten işlem yapmak için onaylanan Bitcoin tabanlı ETF’lerin temelini oluşturan Bitcoin‘in PoW (Proof-of-Work) güvenliğini karşılamakta ve hatta aşmaktadır.”
