]]> Brezilya polisi uzun bir müddettir uyuşturucu satışı yapan ve kripto paralar üzerinden kara para aklayan bir zanlının peşindeydi. Ekipler yeterli bilgilere ulaştıkça çok daha ilginç gerçekler de su yüzüne çıkmış oldu. Zira genç, ufak evinde onlarca makine kurmuş ve değeri milyonları bulan kripto para madenciliğini yapıyormuş. Yaklaşık 25 farklı makine ile 7/24 madencilik yapan genç milyonlarca dolar değerinde kripto para eldde ediyor. Bu durumun ortaya çıkmasında da narkotik ekiplerinin uyuşturucu trafiği takibinin sebep olduğu ortaya çıktı.

Brezilya’da ender bir vaka

Narkotik ekipleri söz konusu olayı Brezilya özelinde eşine pek rastlanan bir olay olmamakla nitelendiriyor. Zira böylesine büyük bir girişimin yerel bir uyuşturucu şebekesinden beklenmediğini ifade eden yetkililer, şahsın elektriği de illegal kullandığını ifade ediyor. Şahsın ilgili suçlamalara yanıtı ise yerli çete söylemlerini aratmayan cinsten oldu. İlgili kaçak kullanım için; evini kiraya verdiğini ve ekipmanların kendisine ait olmadığını sadece Bitcoin yatırımı yaptığını, bunun da legal olduğunu savunarak pes dedirtti. Fakat bu söylemleri onu kaçak elektrik kullanmak nedeniyle ceza almasını engelleyemedi.

Daha önce de Manhattan’da benzer bir gelişme yaşanmıştı. Manhattan’da da bir grup genç yasadışı uyuşturu satışı gerçekleştirmek ve uyuşturucu gelirlerini kripto paralar üzerinden aklama suçlamasıyla göz altına alınmışlardı. Gençlerin uyuşturucu pazarı ise bir dönemin en popüler yeraltı pazarı olan Dark Web üzerinden gerçekleştirdikleri ortaya çıkmıştı.
