İngiltere Merkez Bankası danışmanı dün aynı zirvede yaptığı açıklamada, kripto para birimlerinin hiçbir değeri olmadığını ifade etmişti ve görünüşe göre bugün de kripto paralar aleyhine yeni bir açıklama yapıldı.

Bitcoin’i kötüleyen ve lider kripto para biriminin sıfıra kadar ineceğini belirten isim ise, BCG Digital Ventures firmasının kurucusu Jeff Schumacher oldu. Jeff, geleneksel finans sektörünün tanınan ve tecrübeli isimlerinden birisi konumunda. Ünlü isim etkinlikte CNBC’ye aktardığı demeçte, Bitcoin’in hiçbir değeri olmadığını ve bunun işe yaramaz bir para biriminden ibaret olduğunu vurguladı. Kendisi birçok ülkenin ve bankanın mottosu haline gelinen ”Bitcoin değil, blockchain” felsefesine paralel olarak kripto paralarla değil, blockchain teknolojisi ile ilgilendiğini ifade etti.

Schumacher Bitcoin’in mükemmel bir teknoloji olabileceğini, ancak ne yazık ki hiçbir içsel değere sahip olmadığını aktardı ve ekledi:”Ben Bitcoin’in sıfıra ineceğine inanıyorum. Bence bu mükemmel bir teknoloji ancak bunun bir para birimi olduğunu düşünmüyorum. Bu hiçbir şeye dayalı değil.”

Silver Lake Partners kurucu ortağı Glenn Hutchins ise Bitcoin’in bir para birimi olarak görmek yerine, bunu geleceğin değer saklama aracı olarak gördüğünü vurguladı. Bunun yanı sıra Hutchins asıl endişesinin Bitcoin fiyatı değil, bunun altında yatan blockchain teknolojisinin gelişmesi olduğunu da ifade etti.
