]]> Hükümete yönelik haberler paylaşan Roll Call isimli haber platformunun SEC yöneticisi ile yaptığı röportajda gündemi sarsacak gelişmelere yer verildi. Yetkilinin oldukça iyimser tavrı ve röportaj boyunca pozitif yaklaşımı nedeniyle kripto piyasalarda Bitcoin ETF’leri ile ilgili yeniden umutlarn yeşermesini sağladı.

Normal yatırımcının kullanabileceği ETF için birilerinin SEC’in belirlediği asgari gereklilikleri yerine getireceğini düşünüyorum. Hali hazırda SEC kararı bekleyen çeşitli ETF başvuruları mevcut. Bunlarla ilgili herhangi bir şey söylemek istemiyorum. Fakat şunu söylebilirim ki, eninde sonunda birileri SEC gereklilikleri yerine getirir mi? Ümit ederim ve bana göre evet; öyle olacak.

Şu ana dek yapılan onca ETF başvurusuna rağmen henüz hiçbirine olumlu geri dönüş yapılmadı. Ayrıca halen yanıt bekleyen çeşitli ETF başvuruları da SEC’in gündeminde yer almakta.

Daha önceki başvurulara binaen SEC başkanı Jay Clayton, kripto piyasalarda manipülasyon olduğu müddetçe ETF onayının zor olduğuna işaret etmişti.

SEC, geçtiğimiz Temmuz ayında da yine Cameron ve Tyler Winklevoss kardeşlerin Batz BTX Borsası adına yaptığı ETF başvurusunu reddetmişti. Ardından geçtiğimiz ay tekrar başvuru yaparak iddialı olduklarını göstermişlerdi.

Yine aynı şekilde geçtiğimiz sene son çeyrekte SEC 10’un üzerinde Bitcoin ETF başvurusunu reddetmişti.

Bu durumun aksine, bir diğer yetkili olan Hester M. Peirce ise Cameron ve Tyler Winklevoss kardeşlerin yaptığı başvurunun beklentileri karşıladığını ifade etmiş ve kabul edilebileceğini ifade etmişti.

Yine 2019’un ilk çeyreğinde, Amerikan Hükümeti’nin kapalı olmasından dolayı tüm başvurular geri çekilmek zorunda kalmıştı. Fakat gelişmeler bize artık yeni çağın başlamak üzere olduğunu göstermektedir. Yılın 2. ve 4. çeyreğinde faaliyete geçmesi beklenen Fidelity Investment ve Bakkt kurumsal yatırımcı borsalarının da etkisi ile Bitcoin ve kripto para adaptasyonunun artacağını öngörüyoruz.
