CNBC’de konuşan Hosho.io’nun kurucu ortağı Sawhney, borsaları hem sıcak hem de soğuk cüzdanların özel anahtarları konusunda daha dikkatli olmaya çağırdı. Çoğu kripto para borsasının bilgisayar korsanları için kolay lokma olduğunu belirten uzman, “Borsaların güvenliğe değer vermeyi öğrenmeleri gerekiyor ancak siber güvenlik şirketlerinden düzenli penetrasyon testleri almıyorlar.” dedi.

Kripto para borsalarına saldırılar, son yıllarda önemli ölçüde arttı. Son olarak geçtiğimiz hafta Yeni Zelanda merkezli kripto para borsası Cryptopia, saldırıya uğradığını açıklamış ve faaliyetini askıya almıştı. Yapılan son tahmine göre bu borsadan 16 milyon dolar değerinde kripto para çalındı.

Kripto paralar, kripto para sektöründe bilgisayar korsanlarının tek hedefi değil. Korsanların, borsaları hack’leyerek kullanıcıların kişisel verilerini satışa çıkardıkları durumlar da yaşandı. Yine yakın zamanda kullanıcıların kimlik doğrulama işlemleri için Binance, Bitfinex, Bittrex ve Poloniex gibi borsalara gönderdikleri fotoğrafların karanlık ağda satıldığı ortaya çıkmıştı.
