“Eski Başkan ve aynı zamanda 2024’ün de önde gelen Cumhuriyetçi adayı Donald Trump, bugün Libertarian Ulusal Kongresi’nde planlanan konuşması öncesinde Truth Social’da paylaştığı bir gönderide kriptoya olan en net desteğini dile getirdi.

“Kripto para şirketlerine, bu yeni ve hızla büyüyen sektöre karşı son derece olumlu ve açık fikirliyim. Ülkemizin bu alanda lider olması gerekiyor,” şeklinde çarpıcı bir çıkış yapan yeni dönemin de gözde başkan adayı olan Trump, mevcut başkanın da politikasını açıkça etkilediğini söylemek yanlış olmaz. “İkinci bir yer yok,” diye ekleyen Trump, kendisini Biden ile karşılaştırarak, Biden‘ın kripto sektörünün “yavaş ve acılı bir ölüm” yaşamasını istediğini söyledi.

Trump, son yıllarda ABD dolarıyla karşılaştırıldığında kriptoparalara karşı şüphelerini dile getirmişti. “Bu dünyanın para birimi dolar olmalı. Ve dünyadaki tüm Bitcoin‘lere sahip olacağımızı düşünmüyorum. Onları çok ama çok sıkı bir şekilde düzenlemeleri gerektiğini düşünüyorum.”
